Futurepunk23 ... the aftermath
Veh veh tired so will keep this short.
BEST NIGHT EVER. Seriously. All the bands exceeded my expectations and I had fairly high expectations. Everyone was lovely. No-one pissed me off. Talked to assorted people. You were all great. The audience was great. The bands were great. The DJs were great. The venue was great. Honestly one of the best gigs I've been to. I sincerly hope there's another one. It was worth the HORROR that is travelling into London.
Snuff Radio - Really surprised me. Loved them.
Xykogen - Love the album, have listened to it a few times a day since I downloaded it, live it was all so much better. Stage presence of both Amon and Mark was outstanding.
Action Directe - Rocked (or punked), there's a real power and anger behind Joel, it comes across so strongly live.
History of Guns - I've been desperate to see them for ages. Just.Fucking.Amazing. Really really excelled way beyond my expectations.
DeathBoy - Absolutely perfect finish to the bands. I love DeathBoy like my own filthy vodka swilling children.
Two shonky videos, there is a DeathBoy vid but it really didn't come out so well.
